Love will get us through
12 tips from Anne Lamott on how to get through "It All" - from the world being on fire to our own homes experiencing the turbulence we'd prefer didn't exist.
Welcome to our bi-monthly Hope Notes, a newsletter to meet you at the intersection of faith and intergenerational mental health written by Jennifer Magnano (aka The Barefoot Preacher) and a team of amazing co-writers. Can I get a yes & AMEN?
When in doubt, can we just love?
The earth is shaking. And our cells are quaking in precious bodies realizing that what we desire isn’t here, now. It’s just not. Most days. Almost always.
But…
BUT -
Love will get us through.
I trust this more than anything ever, dear souls.
The weight of the world + my own personal burdens creeped into crevices I didn't know were welcoming wildness the last week or so.
But last night, I saw Love show up on my doorstep in the form of a book I wrote about Her. About how she seeps into the cracks and fills the gaps.
Yes, my final draft of BLISS & BLUE is here.
If you're new to Hope Notes, I wrote a book about our journey. It's the first in a series. An unexpected wink from the Heavens that love exists and persists, come what may.
Come what may.
Until my babies sit & read it with me, I can't post more.
But it's HERE.
It's here.
What's keeping you afloat?
Let's encourage one another as always, loves.
Let’s just love.
When nothing else makes sense… let’s just love.
Tear-filled squeezes,
J.
