What if...
What if we gave the world ALL OF US - the beauty and joy, yes. But also the real, raw, authentic life that we walk? What would happen? What could happen?
It is SO EASY for us to give the world a view of "just the best of us" - instead of the real, raw, authentic life that we walk.
It is SO EASY.
Which is why when Stephanie @beyondspeciall invited me to speak at the FREE annual Empowering Autism Summit, I had to say yes.
And, I had to request that I speak on the Duality of Special Needs Parenting.
Are there hard days?
Yup.
Do we allow these to define life around here?
ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Yet, isn't it nice to just take note that the duality exists? That life is not all joy or all pain? But both?
For me, this is how I not only survive but often thrive.

Stop.
Breathe.
If you’ve gotten this far in the email you should know two things…
This summit is a breath of fresh air that I personally need after a long year (plus). As an avid practitioner of yoga, my desire for breath is that it is life (gifted from the Author of life himself!). I believe that it is so very wise to take a breath right now and really consider joining us if your child or a child you love is anywhere along the lines of being “on the spectrum” (from ADHD to Autism and everywhere between).
I know our plates are more full than ever.
I feel it too.
And I want you to know the reason I said yes to Stephanie and speaking life into the wild space is because this Summit isn’t about adding more to your plate…
It is about Thriving With Your Family!
Which for me often means doing less and living more.
